Training pets to communicate their needs can be one of the biggest challenges for owners. The Pet Training Bell for Dogs and Cats provides a simple, effective way for pets to let you know exactly when they need attention — whether it’s going outside, playtime, or just wanting to be heard. Here is why so many pet owners buy our PawPress Bell.

Teach Clear Communication

Many pet owners struggle to understand when their pets want to go outside, whether it’s for potty breaks or playtime. Scratching at doors or barking can damage your home and create frustration. A training bell gives your pet a simple, clear way to signal their needs.

Reduce Accidents Indoors

House-training often comes with unwanted messes inside the home. Accidents happen when pets can’t communicate quickly enough. With a training bell, your dog or cat learns to associate ringing with going outside, reducing stress for both you and your pet.

Prevent Stressful Behaviors

Pets that can’t communicate often resort to barking, whining, or scratching, which can cause noise and damage. By providing an easy communication tool, the bell reduces these stress-driven behaviors and creates a calmer environment.

Support Independence

Some pets develop anxiety when they can’t make their needs known. Training bells give them independence, allowing them to confidently ask to go outside without waiting for you to notice body language cues.

Encourage Mental Stimulation

Training with bells isn’t just practical — it also provides mental exercise. Teaching pets to associate the sound with an action keeps their minds active, preventing boredom and improving their overall behavior.

Easy for All Ages

Whether it’s a new puppy, an older dog, or even a cat, training bells work across ages. They’re especially helpful for senior pets, who may have more urgency with bathroom breaks and need a faster way to alert you.

Bought a set for every door

These work so well, I ended up ordering 3 more for the other doors in the house. My lab mix picked it up in two days flat. Now she rings to go outside instead of scratching the door up. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

Good product, dog just isn’t into it

Good product, dog just isn’t into it. The bell itself is good quality, but my bulldog doesn’t really care to use it. He prefers to bark at the door like usual. It might just be his personality, not the product’s fault. If your pet is more curious/playful, I think it would work better.

Fun and practical

I got the pink one for my small Yorkie and it’s adorable. She loves slapping it with her paw, and it’s become part of our routine. She even rings it when she wants some playtime — so now she’s training me 😂. I like that the bell is sturdy and not flimsy like some I’ve seen.

Took some patience, but worth it

At first my cat just batted it around like a toy, but after a few days of consistent training she started using it to signal when she wanted food. I wish the base was a little heavier so it wouldn’t slide on my hardwood floor, but overall it does exactly what it’s supposed to.

Game changer for potty training!

I bought this bell for my 5-month-old golden retriever and within a week she figured it out. Now she rings it whenever she needs to go outside. No more accidents in the house — I honestly didn’t think it would work this well, but it’s been a life saver. The sound is loud enough to hear from another room but not annoying.
